After a successful 2nd year in 2016, Australian Music Week has established itself as an event to watch on the global stage, the music summit is back in it’s home of Cronulla Beach in Sydney, NSW with new dates: 1st – 5th November 2017.

Conference 1st – 3rd November 2017
Festival 4th – 5th November 2017

The ECMAs is one of Canada’s premiere music industry trade events and brings together some of the industry’s biggest and best minds to lead four days of seminars, workshops, mentorship programs, showcases, and business meetings.

Celebrating its 16th edition, the 2017 ECMA International Export Buyers Program will welcome more than 50 international and Canadian music talent buyers, booking agents, promoters, festivals, event programmers, presenters, publishers, publicists, music placement supervisors and media from around the world. Attended by more than 2,000 conference delegates, this program is strategically designed to provide new business opportunities for exporting artists and companies.

ECMA is thrilled to partner with Australian Music Week (AMW) to feature the ‘AUSCAN Music Spotlight’ collaborative initiative and will welcome Australian’s William Crighton & Mark Lang to ECMA 2017. SEPTEMBER 14-17, 2017 

Select artists must demonstrate they are export-ready/ and or have exporting experience and the ability and team to maximize on this showcase opportunity. Select artists must demonstrate current touring experience in the Australian music market. The initiative includes showcase opportunities at BOW and AMW, song writing collaborations and touring exchanges between the two markets.

BOW is thrilled to partner with Australian Music Week (AMW) to feature its first international artists performing at the Breakout West Festival in this collaborative initiative. BOW will welcome two Australian artists/ groups to BOW 2017. This collaborative partnership offers reciprocal business opportunities and provides access to new markets for Western Canadian and Australian exporting artists.

Attended by more than 600 conference delegates, BreakOut West’s manageable size allows for real connections to occur and the focus on networking and intimate meetings creates the atmosphere for results. This continues to be a compliment of the event year to year.

Celebrating its 13th edition, BOW 2017 International Export Buyers Program will welcome more than 30 international talent buyers, booking agents, promoters, festivals, event programmers, publishers, music placement supervisors and media from around the world, in addition to the 80+ Canadian industry in attendance.

BreakOut West is the largest music industry event in Western Canada, featuring 60 showcases, 25+ conference sessions, workshops and keynotes, 450+ one-on-one meetings and countless networking opportunities over four days.  BreakOut West brings together national and international industry to connect, network and get business done, with the goal of elevating the careers of the artists and industry in attendance.

The 15th Annual BreakOut West (BOW) music conference, festival and awards will be hosted in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada) from September 14-17 2017. BreakOut West is the primary event hosted by the Western Canadian Music Alliance, an organization that brings together the Industry Association member artists and industry of the six provinces and territories in Western Canada (Manitoba Music, SaskMusic, AlbertaMusic, MusicBC, Music Yukon, Music NWT).
