Off the back of their mind-blowing Golden Plains set on the weekend and accompanying viral video where punters swarmed to the stage to ‘get down’ to their infectious debut ‘Boyfriend (Repeat)’, Brisbane four-piece Confidence Man continue to justify the hype as one of Australia’s best new acts. Selling out their first Melbourne show as part of their Hard Candy tour right after the festival and with the second Melbourne show selling out in just two hours yesterday, the outfit have just announced a third and final Melbourne show at the Corner Hotel on Wednesday 26 April.
Confidence Man today also share the support acts to accompany them on the road this April. Broadway Sounds will bring their unique brand of psych pop as the main support act for all tour dates. Local acts will be joining Confidence Man for the opening slot at each stop, with indie outfit The Khanz in Sydney, rising star Evan Klar in Melbourne, one man dance pop act Simi Lacroix in Brisbane, and triple j Unearthed Featured Artist Heaps Good Friends in Adelaide.
With their highly anticipated second single ‘Bubblegum‘ currently receiving national airplay, this triple j unearthed Feature Artist and 2017 Ones to Watch act have also just been announced to play the Townsville leg of Groovin the Moo. Continuing to turn festival goers into fans, the Groovin the Moo spot follows on from a coveted triple j unearthed spot at Laneway Festival Brisbane, The Plot, Panama, Golden Plains, and upcoming festivalsHot Dub Wine Machine and By The Meadow.
