Following the release of his debut single “4 x 4″ earlier this yearSydney producer Jackson May returns under his moniker Endgrain with an infectious new song “Heavy Lifting”.

May’s latest track premiered on FBi Radio yesterday and showcased a drawn inspiration from UK house and techno. The simplistic track pairs hooky percussion with overdriven 808s to create the perfect club weapon, which exhibits May’s ability to capture electronic hearts and drive them to the dancefloor.

May’s work under Endgrain has previously had success with his single “4 x 4”, which was supported by BBC Radio, Triple J, InTheMix, Purple Sneakers, Pilerats, Ripe Music as well as community radios nationwide. The Sydney producer is also a brainchild of Sydney’s Translate Sound System, a DIY sound system that has seen the likes of events such as Yolk and Dungeon to name a few.

Endgrain’s production varies from laid-back, dusty summer slow jams through to heart-racing, high impact club music and almost everything in between and this single is no exception. “Heavy Lifting” serves as the second single off Endgrain’s upcoming EP, set to be released later this year on October Records.
