FLEET FOXES Release Official Video For New Single Fool’s Errand From New Album Crack-Up Out June 16

NEAR SOLD OUT TOUR DATES AT THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE THIS MONTH

Fleet Foxes have unveiled the eerie new video for Fool’s Errandthe second track released from their highly anticipated new album Crack-Up, due for release June 16 and available to pre-order now. The official video was directed by Sean Pecknold (older brother of Fleet Foxes singer Robin Pecknold), with art direction by Adi Goodrich and produced by Society.

Pecknold noted “Fool’s Errand couldn’t have been shot on anything but 35mm film. The timeline was tight, but shooting on film made us focus and shoot only what we absolutely needed for the edit. There is still nothing like the look of film and it matches the sonic quality of the Foxes music quite well.”

The band previously released a one minute album teaser featuring footage shot during recent rehearsals in Seattle, paired with snippets from select album tracks including first single Third of May / ŌdaigaharaCrack-Up comes six years after the 2011 release of HelplessnessBlues and nearly a decade since the band’s 2008 self-titled debut.

“Likely to be the most remarkable album you will hear this year… the return of one of the most original bands of this century.” – The Times

“Astonishing.  Crack-Up may be the most anticipated release of the year, a welcome return.  Ambitious, mature, meticulous.” – Uncut

Fleet Foxes have begun their extensive international tour where they will appear at select dates throughout Europe and the US along with four shows at the Sydney Opera House, where limited tickets are available.
