The City of Gosnells, South East of Perth, plays host to Gozzy Rock, an Annual Contemporary Music Competition which provides an opportune platform for emerging bands all over Western Australia to perform original music of any genre. The Competition was founded in 1986 to give unsigned artists the opportunity to break into the music industry. Gozzy Rock is celebrating its 30th anniversary with more than 50 bands taking part and free entry for the ever increasing size of the audiences.

Heats 1 and 2 took place on the 19th and 20th of August
and on the 27th of August the finalists
who will be performing for Gozzy Rock 2017 are:

There will also be special live performances by former Gozzy Rock winners Young Robin and RAKSHA.
Light refreshments will be available to purchase, and a display of Gozzy Rock posters from the past 30 years will be exhibited.
Gozzy Rock is a drug, alcohol and smoke free event suitable for all ages. This City of Gosnells event is supported by the Gosnells Youth Advisory Council (GozYac), Band Aide, West Australian Music (WAM), RTRFM 92.1 community radio station and Heritage FM 107.3.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
