Fast-rising talent Billie Eilish has shared a new single ‘Bellyache’, the third release to come from the 15-year-old American artist since she made her debut a year ago. With over 40 million streams under her belt, Billie is yet to share an EP or announce a tour, but has already captured the attention of music fans and tastemakers around the world.

Billie Eilish’s meteoric rise began after she uploaded her first song ‘Ocean Eyes‘ to SoundCloud, to send to her dance teacher for an upcoming recital. The song quickly caught the attention of the blogosphere, gained support from Spotify on a global scale (New Music Friday) and was championed by the likes of Zane Lowe (Beats 1), Annie Mac (BBC Radio 1), Jason Kramer and Chris Douridas (KCRW).

Billie wrote ‘Bellyache’ in her bedroom with her older brother Finneas O’Connell, who produced the track at the home they grew up in, in Los Angeles.

Billie says of the song, “When I write, I try to become different characters. You can write a song about being in love with someone, but you don’t have to be in love with anyone. You can write a song about killing someone, but you don’t have to have killed people. ‘Bellyache’ is about doing one of those things but it’s mostly about regret and guilt.”
