KRONIC
‘RESTRICTED’
featuring EVAN ROSS

With cinema-like narratives at the heart of his artistry, Kronic explains ‘Restricted’ as an “empowering anthem to toxic relationships.” Maintaining a dark, moody edge, ‘Restricted’ tells the story of two people who are too self-destructive to be together, but refuse to be apart. Over a distorted guitar riff and pulsating percussion, Kronic teams up with Evan Ross to bring the story to life.
Having huge success as both an actor and singer, Evan is most recognisable for his recent portrayal of Massalla in the Hollywood blockbuster series, The Hunger Games. Evan’s vocals provide a beautiful depth to the production – with strong falsetto and ferocious sex appeal, his energy is infectious. It therefore comes as no surprise that Evan is true Hollywood pedigree; clearly inheriting the lungs of his dazzling mother, Diana Ross.
From the start, Kronic knew that Evan was the only artist who could execute the vocals the way he had envisaged. Further explaining “When I played him the song, Evan immediately started dancing and coming up with extra melodies. He made Restricted his own, and took the song to a more Michael Jackson-esque place than I had originally intended, all for the better.”

The element of surprise has always been the driving force behind Kronic’s approach. From his origins as South Australian Hip-Hop DJ, to headlining EDM festivals, and all the way to writing music for a handful of popstars, Kronic has consistently drawn outside the lines, and made a career out of rejecting trends. After a year that includes placing a song in the Fast & Furious trailer, to producing records for Pitbull & J-Lo, Kronic takes yet another left turn with the R&B-meets-rock ‘Restricted’.

Kronic releases ‘Restricted feat. Evan Ross’ on Friday 22nd September via Sup Girl in conjunction with Universal Music Australia.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
