With less than three weeks to go, Maroochy Music & Vis Arts Festival has delivered their expanded lineup, today announcing the addition of twelve DJs and two new Visual Artists to the already stacked one-day lineup. To help punters plan their day, the festival is also dropping their highly coveted set times but rest assured, unwanted clashes do not appear on this timetable.

The second stage aka The Love Suite, will be headlined by up & coming talent Willaris K playing a DJ set alongside programmers Tim Fuchs and Lola DJs will be joined by Jawgoh, Alex Millington, LachnessRhys Bynon and Sammy Owens. Over in the Ampi Chavvy Chase will be keeping the vibes rolling between the main acts with the classics.

Thom Stuart and Jake Reston will be adding to creative landscape of the festival, creating stunning installations of their work in the picturesque site of the New Maroochy CBD.

The Love Suite will draw you in as a fully-immersive space with a  soundtrack that can be described as a blend of disco, soul, funk, house and techno. Before joining in synchronised movement, check out the shared props cupboard, get glittered or painted at a nearby stall and embrace your surrounds. The stage is co-presented by Lola whose DJs will kick off the day with their self-described Long Lunch, a veritable smorgasbord of feel-good tunes and chilled out vibes.

Straight off the back of a packed-out set at Splendour In The Grass thanks in part to his high rotation track ‘Alchemy’ on triple j, Willaris. K will delight punters with a rare DJ set under the stars. Co-curator Tim Fuchs is no stranger to the festival environment, he has also taken his talents beyond the bounds of Queensland from Croatia Yacht Week to Good Bar in Sydney. Locally sourced talent also comes by way of Jawgoh, his well-received debut release ‘Serenity Now Insanity Later’ is signed to Centre Source Records with more in the works.
