Motez new single “Praise” out on Sweat It Out

One of Australia’s most innovative & hard-working producers Motez, today shares his pulsating new single “Praise”. The Adelaide-via-Baghdad artist once again pushes the boundaries of house music and showcases his ever-evolving production abilities.

From the opening vocal loop and piano chords to the driving rhythm that takes you to the end, “Praise” is an addiction. As each melodic layer emerges, the track rises to a peak before taking you down with Motez’s superior basslines and percussive knowhow.

While an extended edit and club ready b-side are on the way, “Praise”, as premiered by Richard Kingsmill on 2017 and Magnetic Magazine, is the first taste of new music from Motez since last year’s highly acclaimed The Vibe EP. The four-track offering watched him join forces with rap queen Tkay Maizda, house maestro Wax Motif and West London’s MC Scrufizzer to receive nods of approval from triple j and BCC Radio 1’s MistaJam, Annie Mac and Phil Taggert, before embarking on a live sold-out headline tour of Australia and New Zealand.

With a list of tour highlights that include sold out shows all over North America, main support duties for Disclosure, a closing set at Splendour in the Grass, playing to thousands at the likes of Beyond the Valley, Field Day, EDC, Hard Summer, Holy Ship and heaving clubs across the globe, Motez switches between the booth and main stage with impressive ease.

His progressive originals and official remixes for the likes of Goldlink, Disclosure and Ellie Goulding have earned him praise from dance icons and figureheads such as Destructo, Justin Martin, Diplo and recent Grammy Award winner Flume, as well as guest slots on globally renowned radio shows Diplo & Friends, Beats1 Radio and triple j Mix Up Exclusives.
