After mesmerising crowds across Australia, Europe, New Zealand, and New Caledonia in 2016 on the back of their debut album ‘Lost Tropics‘, Ocean Alley are back with new music; the groove filled belter ‘Overgrown‘.

Starting the year in New Zealand at Rhythm & Vines, and Soundsplash Festivals, Ocean Alley have just rounded out a national Australian tour supporting The Cat Empire. The release of Overgrown coincides with the end of that tour and the announcement that they will be supporting Tash Sultana in Sydney and Melbourne across 8 Sold Out shows.

The band has not stopped there though. This week also saw the release of a 35 minute short film, documenting their travels around Europe in 2016. Visiting for the first time in June, the band played 40 shows in less than 2 months across the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France, and the UK. Joined by local filmmaker Tyler Bell (The Sauce), the film consists of footage across multiple shows, as well as a look at life on the road with the band as they gallivant across the continent.

Ocean Alley have also been announced on the Big Pineapple festival, as well as The Hills Are Alive which will be the first show of the Overgrown cycle.
