Singles Chartifacts: 

#1: Post Malone Feat. 21 Savage ‘Rockstar’ – It’s week five at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for Post Malone’s ‘Rockstar’. In its third week in the chart, the American rapper’s ‘I Fall Apart’ has jumped up nine spots to #14.

#4: Khalid ‘Young Dumb & Broke’ – A move of three spots to #4 puts Khalid’s ‘Young Dumb & Broke’ into the top five for the first time. It’s the single’s tenth week in the top 50 and fourth week in the top ten.

#5: Portugal. The Man ‘Feel It Still’ – Nine weeks into its run in the top 50, ‘Feel It Still’ cracks the top five for the first time. The track currently sits at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

#9: Taylor Swift ‘Gorgeous’ (debut) – Ahead of the release of Reputation on 10 November, Taylor Swift scores a third Singles Chart entry from the album with Gorgeous. The track follows on from ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ (#1 Sept. ’17) and ‘…Ready For It?’ (#3 Sept. ’17).

#19: Niall Horan ‘Too Much To Ask’ – In the week his debut solo album Flicker debuts at #2 on the ARIA Albums Chart, Niall Horan also scores a new peak for ‘Too Much To Ask’. The track jumps eleven spots in its sixth week in the top 50. Earlier single ‘Slow Hands’ has moved back up 16 spots to #34.

Albums Chartifacts:

#1: P!nk ‘Beautiful Trauma’ (debut) – Returning with Beautiful Trauma, her first album in five years, P!nk scores her fifth #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The American artist’s seventh studio album includes the singles ‘What About Us’ (#1 Aug. ’17), ‘Beautiful Trauma’ (#27 Oct. ’17), ‘Whatever You Want’ (#44 Oct. ‘17) and the Eminem-featured ‘Revenge’ (#21 Oct. ’17). Between solo albums, P!nk teamed up with Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green (better known as City and Colour) under the moniker You+Me, releasing the album Rose Ave. (#2 Oct. ’14). P!nk has previously topped the ARIA Albums Chart with I’m Not Dead (#1 Oct. ’06), Funhouse (#1 Nov. ’08), Greatest Hits…So Far!!! (#1 Nov. ’10) and The Truth About Love (#1 Nov. ’12).

#5: Courtney Barnett And Kurt Vile ‘Lotta Sea Lice’ (debut) – Singer-songwriters Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile team up for the collaborative album Lotta Sea Lice. Recorded in Melbourne in eight days, spread over 15 months, the album also includes contributions from members of Warpaint and The Dirty Three, among others. It’s Melburnian Barnett’s first chart appearance since Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit (#4 Mar. ’15) and American Vile’s first since B’lieve I’m Goin’ Down(#27 Oct. ’15).

#14: Beck ‘Colors’ (debut) – American alt-rock icon Beck picks up his sixth top 20 album with Colors. Beck’s thirteenth studio album comes three years on from 2015 Grammy Album Of The Year winner Morning Phase (#5 Mar. ’14).

#16: St Vincent ‘Masseduction’ (debut) – The fifth studio album from St Vincent gives the American artist her first top 50 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Masseduction is the follow-up to St Vincent (aka Annie Clark)’s self-titled fourth album of 2014.

#19: Robert Plant ‘Carry Fire’ (debut) – Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant returns with his eleventh solo studio album Carry Fire. The follow-up to Lullaby And… The Ceaseless Roar (#22 Sept. ’14) is Plant’s twelfth post-Zeppelin release to hit the ARIA top 50.
