His latest offering is on that good Melbourne hip hop, soul, jazz tip. While it will still put him on an ASIO watch list, the sharp lyricism provides informed articulated critiques as well alternatives to the current dominant paradigm. Delving into ideas, theory and reflections around homogenous culture, economic structures, resistance, systems of learning, illegal detention, invasion, collective depression, utilitarian norms, love and more.
Personnel on the album include Diego Villalta,Kaiit (‘Natural Woman’), Allysha Joy (30/70),Aamer Rahman, Ramesh Fernandez (RISE), Robbie Thorpe, Sk Simeon,Lay the mystic, Horatio luna (3070), and more.
A Mercury Prize winning songwriter, who has a vast production background from ARIA award winner 360 to Nazeem Hussain’s Legally Brown (SBS), playing most the instruments on the album.
If you live in Melbourne and see live music there’s a good chance you’ve seen pataphysics on a stage. His freestyle and trumpet stylings have seen him frequently playing or recording with: Wolves in the Cellar, So.Crates, Billy Davis, A Brother Scratch (3070), The Foreign Brothers, Hau Latukefu and a host of other bands.
It is a unique musicality and his commitment to refining a sound which has seen him perform around the country from Laneway Festival to The Sydney Opera House, delivering his powerful live show.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
