Boss-y is the new single from Melbournian Electro-Pop hit Aeora. Lisa Spencer is the face behind the name, presenting Aeora to the world in early 2016 – producing and mixing debut single New Thing, which received over 12,000 plays online.  Aeora’s debut EP Alt. was released in July of 2016, which followed a string of Aussie East Coast shows to celebrate its release; slowly becoming known for her exploration and experimentation of raw electronic beats and powerful vocals, creating a darker edge through her bedroom production techniques.

Boss-y, the three and a half minute track was released earlier this month, receiving rave reviews across the board… And I can understand why. Boss-y is a raw, empowering ode to humanity, a song celebrating freedom of speech and the creativity and imagination of the human mind. Boss-y asserts the dominance and the strong voice of the speaker, whether it be Aeora herself in the industry or females and femininity on a broader scale.
