Sydney duo Aikonawena have blessed us all with new single ‘Covering Me’, following on from track ‘Satisfied (Get Me Home I’m Wasted)’.

The new single presents us with electric and verses that build intensely over a theremin sounding loop, before crashing into a groovy chorus that’s filled by punchy drum beats and winding vocal tones.

The production itself on the track is nothing short of phenomenal, much like their first single, as we’re taken smoothly through instrumental interchanges over the course of the track.

After the release of ‘Satisfied’, Aikonawena have proven their talent with an infectious tune that could be danced to at festivals and gigs. The simplistic lyrics in the chorus are repetitive in a good way, and force you to dance about to the trials and tribulations of youth.

After seeing Aikonawena live as a support act at the Oxford Arts Factory Gallery Bar in February, this new single predicts nothing but good things for the duo in 2018 who harbour an incredible live set, enhanced by their dynamic skills.
