Sweet Creature is the new hit from British sensation, Harry Styles. If you think life couldn’t get any better with the release of his debut single, his highly-anticipated debut album only a week away from release and the newly released dates of his world-wide tour (which yes, does include Australia!!!!!) we are presented with this… Sweet Creature. Harry fans rejoice!

In the 19 hours since its release, Sweet Creature has been listened to via Styles’ official YouTube channel over 1.5 million times, topping the Billboard chart on day one! I can’t say I’m surprised though, because clearly I’m not. Harry’s debut single Sign Of The Times smashed various music charts across the globe, hitting number one in over 80 countries.

The near four minute folksy track is purely acoustic and full of the raw passion possessed by Styles when he sings in and out of the recording booth. It’s refreshing to see an acoustic ballad; focused on the smooth, sweet transcendent sound of the acoustic guitar while revelling in the strong, commanding but soothing vibrato of its vocalist as you experience with Harry Styles and Sweet Creature. The difference is, we get an entirely different Styles here. Brooding, sentimental lyrics of distant loves and former relationships are strong with the many references to the song title included throughout the track. Who’s this “Sweet Creature” he is talking about?

You can start to see a trend as tracks are slowly revealed. Honest, genuine and incredibly captivating lyrics that are filled with heart and soul. Melodies that are wild, emotional and evoke all types of feeling as an elegant accompaniment. Each track evokes a different experience, a different feeling, a different emotion for its listener. Harry chose the perfect song in Sweet Creature as a follow up to Sign Of The Times.
