After playing just about every pub in Sydney within the first few months of existence, indie rock band ‘Jack’s Band’ are pleased to release their debut single ‘Drive Through!’
When I first listened to the song, i was immediately hooked on the funky guitar rhythm that had my head bopping from the get-go. Rohan Pank’s unique vocal tone makes the melody line cool and badass against the playful accompaniment played by his very talented band members. I love the drum’s beat in the accompaniment as it is a perfect tempo if you want to dance and headbang along. The music alone allows the song to be a feel-good track for anyone who listens, which is emphasised through the power guitars! When I hear this song, I think 90’s teenage movie where the edgy main character is dancing and jumping on their bed!

The lyrics to this song are edgy and carefree which I feel also encapsulate the general vibe of the band! So, f you’re a fan of edgy indie rock or just good music in general, I would definitely recommend checking out Jack’s Band (with a margarita in hand)!
