LITTLE MIX – No More Sad Songs ft. Machine Gun Kelly (Single Review)
“I keep trying, nothing’s working. I still wanna know if you’re alone. I keep trying to put this behind me, I still wanna know who’s taking you home…”
No More Sad Songs is the new single from the biggest Girl band in modern music today, British four-piece Little Mix. No More Sad Songs is the third single from their ARIA Gold certified album, Glory Days.
Following their previous singles Touch (certified Platinum in UK/Aust) and Shout Out To My Ex (certified 2 x Platinum in Aust), No More Sad Songs is a light electro-pop ballad with an urban vibe thanks to American rap artist Machine Gun Kelly who features on the song.
The track is a representation of the modern love song, somewhat like their previous hit Secret Love Song from their last album, Get Weird which is all about wanting what you can’t have and the heartache, heartbreak and electrified emotion that comes from love. What No More Sad Songs brings to the table is a relatable, real and honest song that will speak to many through the catchy but incredibly deep and relevant undertone of the lyrics. The track has streamed on Spotify over 11 million times since its release earlier this week, and there’s no doubt it’s going to climb the charts very quickly in true Little Mix fashion!
“Stay out all night, go where the music’s loud so I don’t have to think about it. I’m beggin’ please, don’t play no more sad songs…”
