If anyone knows me really well my favourite genre of music would have to be Electro- pop and EDM so being given the opportunity to review and write about PACES + MUKI + FEKI Creepin Tour in Sydney 13/10/17 at the Oxford Art Factory I was over the moon about. As PACES is one of my favourite Australian born and bred DJ’. As I have seen PACES perform on previous occasions I knew that the show ahead was going to be a great one. However as the night progressed, with each and every act going from strength to strength – my initial expectations went completely out the window. As I was amazed as to what was going on in front of me. The energy and atmosphere within the Oxford Art Factory was electrifying, as you could feel so much love and support within the room for the genre of Electro- pop and appreciating Australian artists and their crafts. As every single person in that room was friendly, having a great time and were dancing around like no tomorrow.

At around 9:30pm things began to kick off – The first act to start the show was Muki.

Muki exploded onto the stage, as the little pocket rocket had the audience eating out of the palm of her hand as her stage presence was beyond incredible. As she took the time to interact with audience members, made sure the audience was responsive, made sure that the audience was having a great time, made sure they were dancing alongside her as she performed. As she performed I had noticed a few things about her set , these including the hard hitting bass drops that you could literally feel within your chest and her hard hitting vocals to match. As Muki‘ vocal performance was strong and hard hitting just like the bass drops to every song she had performed through out her set. Some of the songs that Muki had performed included Sassaparilla, Friends Don’t Make Out , just to name a few. Within her set she did perform the Spice Girls hit Wannabe which included a dance break remix of Danielle BregoliCash Me Outside how bow dah.

At 10:20pm is was Feki’ turn to hit the stage – as Feki walked onto the stage he grabbed the microphone and said “Let’s vibe with one another, have a few drinks the bar is over there, get down and lets fucking do this!” Feki than started to begin playing his set for everyone to hear and vibe too. The hard hitting bass drops that make your heart pound that little bit harder and had the audience getting down and dirty. Feki‘ stage presents was incredible as he knew exactly what they wanted – which was a good time and that is exactly what he did in order to hype up the crowd that little more before PACES came on to perform. Feki’ set that he had performed was honestly great as each song played flowed extremely well and the transitions were flawless. As Feki continued to play his set the more the high energy atmosphere continued to grow. As some of the songs he had played during his set included remixes of The Weeknd’ Earned It, Estelle and Kayne West’ American Boy and The Black Eyed Peas classic My Humps. Which had everyone dancing and  singing word for word at the top of their lungs.

What really stood out for me though, was the amount of love and support that was present by not only the audience members but by PACES, Muki and Feki. Whilst Muki and Feki were performing the man himself PACES was standing in the middle of the mosh pit watching both Muki and Feki’ perform their sets. Whilst he was watching and supporting his fellow artists he was also walking around the venue interacting with audience members and signing merchandise.

It was 11;30pm and the man of the hour PACES was ready to hit the stage, the curtains drew open and it was like we were entering a tropical paradise , as there were bright colours every where and an inflatable elephant to set the theme of the night. Once PACES walked onto the stage the atmosphere was electrifying as he had the audience engaged and intrigued so well. As everyone waited for their socks to be knocked off by his set, and once PACES started playing he blew the roof off the Oxford Art Factory that’s how Lit it was. Every single audience member was so lost in the beat, they allowed themselves to get lost in the music and have it take over their body and just let everything go, be free and dance around without a care in the world. PACES set included Savages f.t Nyne, Creepin, 1993 (No Chill) f.t Jess Kent, Nothing Lasts Forever as he was joined by Muki and Woods on stage for vocals. However what really brought the house down was when PACES played his remix of LDRU’ Keeping Score which was initially made known through his Like a version cover on Triple J with Guy Sebastian. The room was full of electricity everyone was dancing, singing at the top of their lungs and once that bass dropped the audience absolutely lost it.

Overall as a whole, the PACES + Muki + Feki (Creepin Tour) in Sydney at the Oxford Art Factory was lit. As the overall atmosphere was welcoming, loving and supporting. As it was made clear that everyone present was there to support local Australian artists and have a great time doing so which in my opinion was achieved without a doubt.
