Australia’ own and YouTube sensation William Singe braced the stage of The Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Thursday night (02/11/17) as the excitement and buzzing atmosphere filled the streets of Newtown as you could here the music of William Singe from down the street as you walked in the direction of The Enmore Theatre. For those who don’t know of William Singe he is a 25 year old Australian born male who originally was on X-Factor as apart of boy band back in 2012. However William Singe had his rise to fame off his self titled YouTube channel as he uploaded covers and mash ups of songs from other varying artists but mostly within the Hip Hop and RNB genre.

The atmosphere within The Enmore Theatre was absolutely electrifying and William’ star studded performance and vocals were nothing but amazing. And William, William, William ooh William, You have simply done it again by performing a jaw dropping show that was of such a high quality that the people of Sydney were not disappointed in the slightest.

At around 9:15pm the legend himself William Singe exploded onto the stage with the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand as they were simply mesmerised by his presence in the room. William’ stage presence and the way he carried himself on stage was next level. When he was on stage he would work the stage extremely well as he would talk to the crowd, interact with the audeince, walk and dance around the stage to simply engage with the audience in such an intimate way that he was able to form a relationship and a connection with each and every individual (2000 people to be exact) within The Enmore Theatre. Some of the tracks that William had performed throughout the progression of the show included the performance of covers and mash ups titled:

New Rules/Burn/Bodak Yellow (Dua Lipa, Usher, Cardi B)
Friends /Questions (Justin Bieber, Chris Brown)
Wild Thoughts / Maria Maria (Rihanna, Bryson Tiller, Santana)

Fake Love, Broccoli and Caroline (Drake, D.R.A.M and Amine)
Black Beatles, Confessions, No Problem (Rae Sremmurd, Usher and Chance The Rapper)
Let Me Love You (Justin Bieber and Mario)

Original song titled Rush
Original song titled Over and Out
Original song titled Touch

However reflecting back there were two definite highlights of the show which were Singe’ rendition of Pony by Ginuwine and the final encore track titled Mama with Jonas Blue.

William’s rendition of Pony by Ginuwine required some audience participation as William looked through the crowd he selected an audience member made sure she was comfortable on stage and the performance of Pony began. As William sang the lyrics to Pony so passionately with on point vocals to match. The intimate yet jaw dropping performance of Pony left the audience mesmerised as William sang his heart out whilst he channeled some Magic Mike style dance moves into his performance.

As the show came to a close, the audience simply wanted more, as William walked off the stage the audience was screaming ONE MORE SONG! ONE MORE SONG!. All of a sudden you hear this sudden blast of music which was his collaboration track titled Mama with Jonas Blue. You could hear the music and William’ vocals, but the audience was left wondering where was Will?. But the man himself was in the middle of the mosh pit crowd surfing whilst he was singing the smash hit Mama. And the crowd simply went wild as the experience was immersive and intimate.

I’ve been to quite a few concerts and never in my life have I seen such an electrifying atmosphere as the entire audience were up on their feet dancing, jamming out to their favourite tunes and screaming word for word as William performed. The atmosphere overall was incredible as the audience were having an overall lit time, the ongoing love and support for William Singe and Australian artists was definitely present within the room.
