THE ATTENTION SEEKERS
drop “DISCO BISCUIT TIPRAT DROPKICK”
single and video clip
Hyperactive garage-punk band from Melbourne, The Attention Seekers are releasing their kickass single “Disco Biscuit Tiprat Dropkick” ahead of a 6-track EP titled ‘Itchy’ as well as announcing their first VIC, NSW and SA tour. Growing up together in the Eastern suburbs, the lads have been gaining attention locally for years, but now it’s time to ramp up the ruckus and introduce them to the masses.
Exploring the trials and tribulations of early adult life from losing mates to addiction, stories of all night benders and political misconceptions to even killing a boss, the Attention Seekers cover all the nitty gritty topics. They’re also advocates for the idea that it’s okay to have a beer, even when the ship is obviously sinking.
The Wiggles-inspired video clip for their first single off the chopping block, Disco Biscuit Tip-rat Dropkick features Jeff waking up to an absolute commotion and before you know it, the havoc ignites. Lamps are thrown, fellas hang off the roof and poor Dorothy is pushed around by fellow band members, and all whilst children of the ‘90s watch on in shock. It’s a sight for sore eyes so get ready for a ride. Other singles off the 6-track EP include the guilt-ridden ‘Did What I Had To Do’ and ‘Hipster Scum’, which will be released with the full 6-track EP.
To celebrate their debut EP release, the band’s 10-day VIC, NSW and SA tour begins on 6th May, with shows in Melbourne, Echuca, Bendigo, Geelong, Sydney, Ballarat, Adelaide and Warnambool. Expect high energy, erratic antics and a whole lotta’ stage divin’. Cheers!

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
