WAAX – ‘NOTHING IS ALWAYS’
Hot off the mastering desk comes brand new music from almighty Brisbane force of nature WAAX. ‘Nothing Is Always’ is a track the band needed you to hear, a favourite live moment that will undoubtedly serve them well as they hit the road in support of the national Kingswood album tour. It’s a track that precurses the official single and a forthcoming EP release, but more on that later.
WAAX are determined to make 2017 their year. With spot spins of roaring first single ‘This Everything’, triple j took the next one all the way and added ‘Same Same’ to their playlist, causing the band’s summer shows swell to the point of bursting. The ‘Same Same’ video served as a stunning visual to front-person Maz DeVita’s evocative lyrics and it quickly racked up in excess of tens of thousands of plays within mere days.
But all these accolades are just formative – in the next couple of months we’ll see another single release, a first EP release from the now-static band lineup, a full national tour with Kingswood and their own headline shows.
For now enjoy ‘Nothing Is Always’, another furious rocker addition to the WAAX cannon with spit-fire shouts of “damage” and “panic” laced around suggestions of compromise and insecurity. It is available now via Soundcloud and Bandcamp.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
