ILLY
releases official video for new single “OH MY”
featuring JENNA McDOUGALL
FROM THE ARIA #1 ALBUM TWO DEGREES – OUT NOW
Platinum selling Australian artist Illy has released the official video for Oh My, featuring Tonight Alive’s lead singer Jenna McDougall. The video has a nostalgic vibe, following a young woman scouring a scrap yard to make the perfect go-cart and features both artists on location in LA.
McDougall said of the collaboration, “I really admire Illy’s artistry. Collaborating with him on the track was super natural and we had a great time on set together! I loved singing on a song that praises women but has nothing to do with love. That’s bad ass to me. It was actually freezing the day we shot the video in LA butOh My brings the Aussie summer vibes.”
Illy intended the song and accompanying video as a tribute to influential women, saying “The track is a shout out to incredible women, and I think the video really represents the song well.”
Shot in Los Angeles by director Mark Staubach, who has previously directed videos for Charlie Puth, Simple Plan, The Wombats and Lupe Fiasco, this marks the second pairing with Illy as Staubach also linked with the Australian artist for the video for his single Catch 22, featuring UK singer Anne-Marie.
Oh My is the fourth single from the #1 ARIA album Two Degrees and follows thetriple platinum ARIA Award-nominated and APRA Award-winning song Papercutswith Vera Blue, double platinum collaboration with UK powerhouse Anne-MarieCatch 22 and live favourite You Say When featuring Marko Penn.
Last month Illy completed his Two Degrees Australian Tour, travelling to Adelaide and Fremantle and performing sold-out shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
