THEIA ANNOUNCES SELF-TITLED DEBUT EP AND NEW ZEALAND TOUR

Christchurch-born singer Theia today announces the release of her debut EP, simply titled THEIA, out June 30. The EP includes her current single Treat You, along with her previously released tracks Roam, Champagne Supernova and Silver Second. THEIA is available to pre-order now.

All tracks on the EP were masterfully shaped and crafted in Auckland’s Golden Age Studios with producer, Josh Fountain(Leisure, MAALA), apart from Silver Second which was produced in Sydney by Alex Hope (Broods, Troye Sivan). The six songs showcase Theia’s knack for the seamless blending of genres and taking listeners on a personal journey.

Directed and designed by Mardo El-Noor (Fish ’n’ Clips), the just debuted official video for Treat You sees Theia wearing outfits made by award-winning local fashion design graduate Tess Norquay. The pieces were part of a collection which featured in Italian Vogue.

Theia today also announces her first headline tour of New Zealand, which comes on the heels of Theia’s first tour of Australia with The Kite String Tangle and showcase in Los Angeles at the prestigious international music and media conference, MUSEXPO.

Theia burst onto the music scene in 2016 with her break-out smash hit Roam, which has surpassed 7 million streams on Spotify. She followed it up with Champagne Supernova, collaborating with members of the Royal New Zealand Ballet on the music video.
