Two of Europe’s biggest dance names have recently joined forces under a secret alias to create the new dance project Akkadia. Although they wish to remain a mystery, the duo are set to release their first single ‘Clouds Above’ this June.

The two have previously rubbed shoulders with big names such as Calvin Harris, Rihanna, David Guetta, Chris Brown, Cherly Cole and Flo Rida either being involved in writing, producing or remixing for the top guns. While steering away from working with some of the biggest names in the game, Akkadia still toy with the hit-making theory on ‘Clouds Above’. Taking the massive LMC vs U2 cover of Whitney Houston’s 1985 hit ‘How Will I Know’, ‘Take Me To The Clouds Above’ and reworking the track into a summery dance anthem that blends 80s nostalgia with today’s festival filling dance sound.
