THE ANNUAL DAREBIN MUSIC FEAST SONGWRITERS' AWARD

.

The Darebin Music Feast Songwriters’ Award is an annual songwriting competition that seeks to recognise, showcase and promote the talents of local songwriters. Around 100 entries are received each year with finalists performing before a panel of distinguished local musicians as part of the Darebin Music Feast.

This year’s winner will be in fine company amongst previous winners including Jordie Lane, Sal Kimber, Ben Mason, Brooke Russell and Charm of Finches and will be determined by some of the country’s sharpest musical minds in Peter Farnan, Sophie Koh and Kutcha Edwards.

Songwriters who live, work or study in the City of Darebin are welcome to enter. The Award is open to songwriters of all ages and entrants are also welcome to enter in languages other than English.
