After selling out his first Sydney show in a matter of hours and his second Sydney show only 2 days later, Australian singer/songwriter Ruel has just announced a venue upgrade to Sydney’s iconic Metro Theatre to meet the overwhelming demand for his first ever solo headline performance.

Making his live debut at just 14 years of age in the Metro Theatre as main support for Gallant in April of last year, the prodigious multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter will now host his hometown headline performance at the same venue that started it all.

Ruel’s 2nd single ‘Dazed & Confused’ has already made waves on a worldwide scale. The track has been added to multiple global playlists, added to full rotation on triple j and has received rave reviews from the likes of Time Magazine and Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.

Since the release of his critically acclaimed debut single ‘Don’t Tell Me’ last year, Sydney singer/songwriter Ruel caught the attention of Grammy-nominated Khalid, who invited him on the road as main support on his Australian/New Zealand tour in late 2017, and the legendary Elton John, proclaimed on his Beats1 radio show that he had the “most amazing voice that I’ve ever heard from a male singer at 14 years of age.”
