Fraser A. Gorman returns in 2018 with a brand-new single ‘Walking To Oman’s’.
His first new music in three years Gorman says ‘Walking To Oman’s is a song I wrote whilst on a trip to the Otway forest to visit an old friend. It’s a song about getting lost in addiction and looking for a way out. It was inspired by the great, overarching trees that towered over me as I walked through the forest. So thick they nearly black out the sky’.
The single also features guest vocals by Melbourne based Electro, Indie, Pop artist Hachiku.
With his love for country, blues, and folk, Gorman started his solo career writing songs with a laid-back storytelling style. In 2015 he released his first full length album, ‘Slow Gum’ which received critical acclaim across the globe including mass praise in Uncut, Mojo and Rolling Stone. Gorman toured the world three times on the back of his debut album release before settling back in Melbourne to work as a carpenter and contemplate existence.
Now the break is over, and Gorman is back with a new single ‘Walking to Oman’s’ which will be available Here on May 23 through Brown Truck Records and Caroline Australia.
To coincide with the release of the single, Gorman will be supporting Iron & Wine in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra and Perth, kicking off on Tuesday May 29.
