BORN LION
New single
‘Old Days’

In February this year Born Lion released their highly anticipated sophomore full-length album ‘Celebrate the Lie’ produced by Jimmy Balderstone (Luca Brasi, High Tension, Grenadiers) and mixed by Ryan Hazell (The Drones, Green Buzzard).

“This album will provide you with much gnarly enjoyment.” – The Music
.
‘Celebrate the Lie’ combines angsty punk-rock, frenetic hardcore and unapologetic monstrous pop-hooks, to deliver on what is quite simply a straight up, raucous, no bull-shit, razor-sharp rock n’ roll record.
Not spending one minute to sit and relax, the band are into their new single – Old Days – and a large-scale tour again.

Lead singer John Bowker said this of the new single;
“Old Days was the first song written for Celebrate the Lie. It came together really quickly. Lyrically it’s a personal reflection about where I was at that point in my life. I’d been through some pretty heavy events, like a divorce and was starting to come out the other side of all that. It’s a reminder to myself that even though things may seem all doom and gloom, it can change for the better if I keep working at it.”
Expect a video clip for this new single coming this week too! Pioneering a new filming technique incorporating 5 Go-Pro cameras all lined up on a metre-long board makes for a tripped-out perspective on the traditional video clip. Watch this space for more!
The band continue their album tour throughout May and June;

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
