The track and visual combination play on the insecurities faced in a relationship that results in a realisation of self-empowerment and need for independence.

The visual, directed by Zac Facts, illustrates a deviant narrative of jealously and revenge between blackbear and his girlfriend. From its start, blackbear is covered in scantily clad women, unfazed by his girlfriend’s concerns with his indiscretion. Fed up with his unfaithful ways, her revenge fantasy comes to fruition with the help of masked strangers DVBBS.

“IDWK” debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic songs chart following its June 1st release and has since reached over 10 million streams.  The single was first performed by DVBBS with blackbear during his Coachella set this year and soon after in Lollapalooza Chile, with remixes from both Loud Luxury and Yellow Claw are coming soon.
