After celebrating it’s 10th anniversary earlier this year, today Secret Garden Festival announces its return weekend for Friday 22 – Saturday 23 February 2019. With a reputation for providing a non-stop forest celebration of music, dance, performance art and interactive theatre over 48 hours, next year’s festival will bolder and brasher than ever before, with tickets on sale on Wednesday 12 September.
As per the ethos of the festival, details including the line up will only be revealed when they have sold out ensuring everyone comes for the same reasons. After selling out in advance year after year, with previous performances by Client Liaison, Gang of Youths, DZ Deathrays, Holy Holy, The Jezabels and more, you can be assured that the carefully curated weekend of excess will take you on some wild adventures through their forest.
Situated 1.5 hours outside Sydney the two-night camping adventure is a festival for mates by mates. Made up of a team of curators, musicians, actors, performance artists, prop designers, drag queens, artists and architects, the festival organisers have all bonded over their mutual love of over-the-top parties. An inclusive festival encouraging attendees to wear what they like and be who they like, the Friday costuming theme will be revealed down the track, whilst Saturday is a fancy dress free for all.
With a collection of devoted attendees, there is no doubt that the 11th outing of Secret Garden Festival will sell out quickly.
