For decades, [V] has prided itself on discovering and supporting new and emerging music artists from around the country and across the globe. Since the beginning of their careers, [V] has championed and helped break super star acts like The Preatures, Peking Duk and The Veronicas in Australia.
[V] continues its tradition of showcasing the best emerging talent from Australia and beyond, with the launch of UNCO[V]ERED – a brand new artist-focused initiative aimed at flaunting a new generation of music superstars, freshly picked every week courtesy of [V]’s expert curators.
Debuting on the primetime weekend slot last Saturday, with Sydney-based songstress GRAACE, UNCO[V]ERED will continue to unveil a brand new clip from an upcoming artist weekly and offer monumental support through high rotation on [V], plus a ton of online support across [V]’s website and socials, increasing both audience-reach and credibility.
Fraser Stark, General Manager of Foxtel’s Arts & Music channels said: “[V] is devoted to playing today’s hottest hit music. All day. Non-stop. Nothing but. One thing the channel is notis nostalgic. To help keep us on the front foot, and to allow fans of the channel the chance to discover new music, we have opened up some of our most popular weekly slots for new music videos that we think will resonate with our brand and ‘hit’. The initiative is called UNCO[V]ERED and we expect that it will help nurture tomorrow’s artists, their hit music and the labels on which we’ll rely for submissions.”
“When we were starting our career, [V] was so important to us… and it still is! We can remember how exciting it was the first time that we saw our video for ‘4Ever’ on [V]. It’s great to see that they are still supporting brand new Australian music like this.”– The Veronicas.
Similar to previous channel formats including [V] Buzz Artist, DISCO[V]ER and [V]’s Ripe Clip of the Week, UNCO[V]ERED carries on the long-standing reputation of staying ahead of the curve when it comes to breaking artists. A unique opportunity for artists to place themselves in the champion’s league, with airplay alongside world-class acts as [V] searches for the next Amy Shark, Tkay Maidza or Post Malone.
Be sure to tune in to [V] this Saturday at midday to see who [V] will uncover next!

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
