18-year-old French producer and musician Petit Biscuit today unveils two new tracks, Suffer featuring Swedish artist Skott and the more instrumental Safe. Coming off the back of a sold-out debut Australian tour with huge headline Sydney and Melbourne shows plus packed Listen Out appearances, Petit Biscuit recently took on triple j’s Like A Version covering Phoenix’s 1901 and performing his hit track Problems with guest vocals from New Zealand artist Bene. The tracks and tour follow the release of his debut album Presence, released in 2017 to critical acclaim including a Best New Album nomination at France’s Victoires de la Musique, the country’s highest musical honour.

On Suffer, Petit Biscuit says “This track has been in the making for a year now, and at first I used it as an outlet to release some energy, screaming into the microphone. One of my initial recordings made it into the track, that siren sounding shout at the beginning. That’s in part why it’s called Suffer.”

“Composing it helped me get over some painful moments. At some point I thought it would be better with some quality vocals, and so I asked singer Skott to try something with it. I loved her music, and what she sent immediately felt right. The melodies she sings also communicate the lonely and weird atmosphere of the track.” Petit Biscuit added.

A multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, Petit Biscuit recently cracked half a billion plays on Spotify. Experimenting with electronics to form his signature sound at the young age of 11, Mehdi Benjelloun a.k.a. Petit Biscuit is classically trained and has been touring since the age of 15. Having already performed huge sets at festivals including Coachella, Sasquatch, Lollapalooza to name a few, it’s clear everyone wants a little bit of the Petit Biscuit.
