Grammy-nominated artist Anderson .Paak has released his highly anticipated Oxnard LP, his first release via Aftermath Entertainment, exclusively distributed by 12 Tone Music, LLC. Executive produced by Dr. Dre, the album features Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, J. Cole, Q-Tip, Pusha T, Kadhja Bonet, Norelle, Cocoa Sarai, the Last Artful, Dodgr and BJ the Chicago Kid.
Born in Oxnard CA, the album is an ode to the artist’s origins while pointing to where he’s going next. With a soulful essence harkening back to some of the most iconic voices of the seventies, yet embodying a raw uniqueness fully present in the now, Anderson has managed to wonderfully alchemize a cross-section of music styles – R&B, hip-hop, and dance- into an undeniable sound perfected within Oxnard. Of the album Anderson states:
“This is my most ambitious album. Working with a lead producer like Dr. Dre, I feel like he along with the team we assembled brought the best out of me. We had fun tackling every mood and genre. We learned so much since Malibu. We’ve seen the world twice and now it’s time to bring it back home. Same man, new car!”

I am an avid music fan who loves finding new artists in my downtime. My love for music stemmed from a young age and spans most genres. I have travelled across the country as well as overseas to see some of my favourite artists. I have been involved in the music industry since 2011 volunteering and working on some amazing shows and festivals and wouldn’t have it any other way!
Aside from music, I am also a sports enthusiast. If I’m not surrounded by music, you can catch me watching and cheering for my favourite teams, most importantly, the Dees. I also love coffee, bad jokes and travelling.
