In 2016, DMA’S covered Cher’s classic ‘Believe’ for triple j Like A Version. The cover has gone on to become one of the most played while also claiming the #6 spot on the 2016 Hottest 100; the highest ever position for a Like A Version. After huge demand from fans, the recording was officially released in 2017; and it is with great pleasure that I OH YOU announce it has now achieved ARIA Gold Status in Australia.

In further exciting news, DMA’S’ debut album ‘Hills End’ has now achieved BRIT Certified Breakthrough status. The award is given to artists who have achieved 30,000 sales for one of their albums for the first time in the UK. The accolade reinforces the impact the band have had across the pond.

DMA’S will return to the UK this April for another huge headline tour, following their completely sold out UK tour of last December. The Sydney band has well and truly been embraced by the British audience. As well as extensively touring the UK last year with their own headline shows, they’ve also supported Liam Gallagher, Richard Ashcroft, The Kooks and Kasabian amongst others.

DMA’S stunning sophomore album ‘For Now’, released on Friday 27 April 2018 worldwide; debuted at #7 on the Australian ARIA Album Chart and #13 on the Official Album Chart in the UK. The critical acclaim on ‘For Now’ has been widespread and hugely positive, following a whirlwind album and touring campaign across Australia, the UK and Europe! The band were also nominated for three ARIA Awards for 2018.

Alongside scoring the coveted triple j Feature Album, DMA’S made their Australian television live performance debut on ABC’s Tonightly with Tom Ballard; graced newspaper magazine covers throughout the world; picked up a barrage of glowing reviews and a visibility online on socials and on the streets; which made them impossible to miss!
