#roady4roadies Roady4Roadies a re fun, family orientated events happening around the country on Sunday, 10 March (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth) and Sunday, 24 March (Adelaide).
Roadies are amongst the most essential figures in the entertainment world. The reality is, no roadies = no show.
Despite their hard work and dedication to the artists and events they work with and for, many roadies find themselves in precarious health and financial circumstances and Roady4Roadies will both shine a much-deserved light on the diverse range of highly technical and creative skills required of live production crew, while raising desperately needed funds to help those in crisis.
The aim of Roady4Roadies is to bring public awareness to the unsung heroes of the Australian music industry: Roadies – the unseen but essential backbone of every music event we all enjoy and to highlight the diverse range of highly technical and creative skills required of live production crew, while raising desperately needed funds to help those in crisis.
There will be BBQ’s, prizes and Roadie Games for the kids. Then there’s the Crewathlon, a fun and friendly competition between teams of roadies, with awards, speeches and prizes given away on the day.
Raffles and auctions will be held at each event with major prizes on offer. Items include a special edition Urban Vintage Player guitar – personally signed by Keith Urban, ‘Rockin Australia’ – a rare 3 Volume Collection of Australian concert posters (limited to only 666 hand numbered copies), an acoustic guitar/case and strap, 5 professional road cases personally signed by some of the biggest names in Australian music (valued at $850 each) and signed merchandise.
The day concludes with live entertainment from some of the country’s leading artists.
Combined tickets for the Roady4Roadies Walk and entertainment are on sale now through Moshtix for only $30.00 and are strictly limited to just 300 participants in each capital city. Every participant receives a t-shirt, wristband, laminate and lanyard, with water and sunscreen provided along the way. Tickets and event information for each city are available at roady4roadies.com

Registration will take place at the Bridge Hotel from 10.30am with the show starting back at the hotel after the walk. The Sydney line-up includes Mark Callaghan and Buzz Bidstrup from GANGgajang.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
