Fresh from news of his addition to Listen Out 2019, Denzel Curry announces details of forthcoming album ZUU and shares a brand new single. ZUU, due May 31 via Loma Vista Recordings / Caroline Australia, arrives just 10 months after the release of his critically-acclaimed breakout album TA13OO in 2018.
New single ‘SPEEDBOAT’ backs on from lead single ‘RICKY‘, and finds Denzel returning to his South Florida roots both sonically and thematically. Denzel meditates on the consequences of living the fast life, masterfully bouncing between melodic moments and combative bars as he refuses to fall victim to the violence that plagued his childhood in Miami.

Following separate North American Tours with Billie Eilish and $uicideBoy$ (May – August), Denzel will return return to Aussie shores in September / October for Listen Out Festival – full dates below… New dates follow his recent headline run for Laneway Festival – including sold out shows in Sydney (Maxx Watt’s) and Melbourne (170 Russell).
Whilst in the country, Denzel took to triple j’s Like A Version studio for a seismic rendition of Rage Against The Machine’s ‘Bulls On Parade’ (1996) and a special live version of ‘BLACK BALLOONS‘ featuring Australia’s own Sampa The Great and Harts.
