It’s about to get frothy folks! The first announcement of brews, bands and bites has arrived for the Gold Coast’s premier beer and cider event, Crafted Beer & Cider Festival!
Returning for its third succulent year, Crafted Beer & Cider Festival will once again take over Broadbeach’s Kurrawa Park with a flurry of hops and bops on Saturday 7 September. Featuring more brewskis than ever before, this year boasts over 40 breweries (ten brand new) and a whopping 200+ brews (including Crafted Festival Exclusives) from the Gold Coast, the nation and around the world.
Now showcasing seven brewers from the Gold Coast region, Crafted Festival is the best spot to taste the flavours that sit right on your back door! Some frothies are coming from quite a distance, with 14 brewers travelling interstate to post-up at the ocean-side greens, as well as some pints from across the pond, Parrot Dog (NZ) and Far From The Tree Cider (USA) are making their debut, alongside last year’s first international addition New Belgium (USA). Festival faves will be there for festival goers to wet their whistle, alongside crafty connoisseur choices like the new additions of Moon Dog Brewery, Soapbox Beer and Hop Nation Brewing Co.
Getting the crowd on their thongs this year are some of Australia’s most exciting musical acts. Leading the line up are the always dazzling The Delta Riggs, who never fail to deliver a highly energetic set full of anthems and antics. NSW North Coasters WHARVES and Seaside serve up a healthy dose of indie-rock grooves, paired with surf-punks Concrete Surfers whose tunes are sure to flow just as easily as a fruity pale ale.
Does an IPA pair better with a burger or a slow cooked brisket? Which cider washes down buffalo wings best, apple or pear? Unleash your inner foodie this year at Crafted Festival and chomp your way through a huge selection of the best food trucks and gourmet delights the Gold Coast has to offer. From slow cooked ribs to fire roasted empanadas and fluffy gluten free donuts, there’s a bite to please any self proclaimed connoisseur.
The spirit changing Beer Yoga returns, showcasing that with a few brews, a regular yoga session can turn into a game of Twister. If that’s still not enough to keep shenanigans at a high, Crafted Festival offers ping pong, a hot dog eating competition, along with a number of games to provide maximum laughs
Crafted Festival has gone green, with every ticket purchased coming with a FREE Crafted Festival reusable cup so you can help the environment one beer at a time!
A limited number of Early Bird tickets are on sale now, saving you a massive $15 on the door price, and coming with the added bonus of a free stubby cooler. These tickets won’t last!
