Ever wanted to see triple j brekkie boys Ben & Liam get in the ring together? Yeah, so did the triple j listeners.
It was never going to be a fair fight, but the challenge came about as a direct result of Liam’s hubris, so he only has himself to blame.
For context: after five years of boxing training, and in preparation for his first “professional” fight, Ben recently appeared in an exhibition fight… against a 16-year-old.
On learning this, Liam publicly taunted Ben for fighting “a kid who’s not even finished high school yet”. Almost immediately the calls, texts and social media requests flooded in from triple j listeners challenging a totally unprepared Liam to fight a match-fit Ben.
Pride goeth before destruction, so here we are: 50k likes and several weeks later we give you Ben ‘Hammer Time’ Harvey VS Liam ‘The Colonel’ Stapleton’.
