with new track
“Come Down”
Sydney local BRAD JORDAN has released his new track “Come Down” today alongside a theatrical and entertaining music video. The song is Brad’s first track of 2019; mixing fast and hard beats with a warm textured topline that allows his lyrical flow to be front and centre.
The song aligns itself with the concept behind Brad’s upcoming EP, which was written during a time of great contemplation for the young artist who was trying to find his way. “Come Down”reminiscences on the golden years of youth, the freedom it brought, and the choices that had to be made.
BRAD JORDAN is no stranger to the Australian hip-hop scene. Previous to his solo work Brad formed part of the Sydney based hip-hop group Rapture who have also previously held the first place position in the triple j Unearthed Hip Hop Song Charts. Starting out hustling to make bedroom-produced tracks at the age of 17 with his mates and collaborators, he has gone on to hone in on his own authentic sound to become an artist with his finger on the pulse.
“Come Down” is the first taste of what will later become his new EP, due out later in the year. From a young mind brimming with potential and new ideas, the world is BRAD JORDAN’s oyster and we all need to get ourselves ready from what he’s about to serve up.

I’m so proud of this dude for real. We both grew up rapping together and can go bar-for-bar with anyone in the growing Australian scene. He has a confidence about his character and the way he wants his artistry to be perceived that has encouraged me to strive for that same confidence. His E.P. ‘Lost in Translation’ is out not he 6th of June, and from what I’ve heard of it so far it’s gonna be amazing.

Hailing from Brisbane, this guy deserves way more respect and people talking about him then he has right now. I remember being annoyed I didn’t win the Hilltop Hoods Initiative one year, until I heard “Seven Deuce” by I AM D who won it that year; it was obviously extremely deserved. He’s even taken out the time to DM me when I had questions about the music industry and life. For someone who I look up to in this scene to give me their time and words, it shows how extremely humble this guy is. Oh yeah and he can spit.

CHARLIE THREADS
When I was 16, I was totally obsessed with Baro’s HOWGOODISGOOD mixtape. Get it, trust me, it’s the s***. Baro was part of 90’s RD, a young music collective from Melbourne. Another member of the young collective burst onto my radar with his mixtape ‘Incognito’ was Charlie Threads. Ever since I’ve been the biggest fan boy of everything he’s ever done. If you ever see this Charlie, lets collab xo.

KID PHARAOH
It’s hard to surpass Kid Pharaoh when talking about young, diversely talented Australian artists, let alone rappers. I admire him so much due to the fact that he produces ALL of his instrumentals, while still being able to deliver on the pen. I can definitely foresee a meteoric rise for this guy with the drive that he possesses.

A guy that I met when $uicideboy$ played at the Manning Bar a couple years back, fans of Lil Peep will gravitate to this dude’s aesthetic and sound. Extremely humble guy, we’re yet to do a song together, but whenever that happens trust me it will be a heater.
