“Graeme James is a name that should be remembered” Bleistiftrocker (Germany)

New Zealand’s own, Graeme James is a critically acclaimed artist rooted in folk’s rich storytelling and musical traditions. He furthers the lineage with an imaginative textural approach in which he carefully crafts multi-instrumental soundscapes.
2019 has been a huge year for the artist whom – in January released his fourth album – The Long Way Home (Nettwerk). It is a beautifully emotive and warm album that looks to conceptualise James’ life experiences and in an ambient and reflective manner.
The one man band who plays- electric violin, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica, percussion and vocals in his live show is now setting his sights on Australia with shows in Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne.
This will be Graeme’s third trip to Aus, selling out all his Melbourne shows in the past. He has played festivals like Port Fairy Folk Festival, and had a number of radio and TV appearances.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
