On Saturday 26 of October, over 50 incredible artists descend on Fortitude Valley in a celebration of fashion, art, food, music and entertainment for an unmissable FREE event. Bringing together Fortitude Valley in a way like no other, The Hidden Lanes Festival displays the endless culture and opportunities in the area whilst combining its past, present and history.
Illuminating the 80 businesses that call California, Winn, Bakery, Lucky and Little Valley Lane home, The Lanes will be filled with the tunes of some of the most exciting live acts in the country. Leading the musical charge are the explosive Wollongong four-piece, The VANNS. Having spent the last two years supporting acts including Catfish and the Bottlemen and Aussie favourites Ocean Alley, the band recently shared their huge new single ‘Mother’, and hit the road for a sold out east coast tour in support of the track. You can count on The Vanns to spread the good vibes.
Also joining the line up is Splendour In The Grass 2019 alum, Tyne-James Organ. After gaining national praise for his powerful 2018 single, ‘Watch You Go’, latest release, ‘Something New’, is another testament to his ability to channel tough experiences into emotive and irresistible tracks, resulting in a live-act like no other. These heavyweights will be joined by a slew of incredible local and interstate acts like Demon Days (Perth), Ella Fence, Pink Matter, The Oogars and so many more. Brisbane’s Music Industry College also present their high school program, inviting four bands to perform on The Zoo stage, with selections to be announced.
In addition to the music trail, visitors to the lanes can also experience the fashion & beauty trail, the art & design trail, the heritage trail, the food & wine trail and the market trail. A series of masterclasses, demonstrations and installations are sure to keep punters busy as they enjoy contemporary fashion, innovative artwork and culinary delights, whilst being able to meet the maker behind the creations.
Whether you’re into music, art, fashion, food or all four, you’ll be sure to discover different at The Hidden Lanes Festival. With more live acts to be announced, stay tuned to the festival’s Facebook and Instagram for more updates and join us Saturday 26 October to celebrate all things The Lanes have to offer!

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
