Support for previous single ‘GARDEN HOSE RAINBOWS’

“’Garden Hose Rainbows’ is a salute to summer, packed with energy and blessed with that biting, anthemic chorus”. – Clash Magazine (UK)

“Setting themselves up as an act to watch in 2019”.Pilerats (AUS)

“I don’t know what music you guys grew up on but I’m guessing your folks are pretty effin cool. This is a time traveller and I’m happy to hop in Nelipot’s DeLorean”. – 4/5 stars – Declan Byrne – triple j (AUS)

Folding Dishes

A playlist to be accompanied by menial chores & pleasures. An assortment of songs that pair well with folding laundry, washing dishes, or an afternoon glass of sale-bin shiraz.

.

Hatchie – ‘Bad Guy’

Had the pleasure of first hearing Hatchie live last year at Spotify’s Front Left playlist showcase and while she was billed as a support for King Princess, she was definitely the highlight of our night. The perfect blend of melancholic nostalgia in her voice to get you where you didn’t know you needed to be.

.

San Mei – ‘Two Planets’

We got the chance to play with San Mei in Wollongong earlier this year and before meeting we hadn’t yet got around to hearing her music, but since that night it has been a welcomed addition to all our band playlists. Two Planets from her 2018 EP ‘Heaven’ is a favourite of ours and should be a favourite of yours too.

.

Lime Cordiale – ‘Inappropriate Behaviour’

Probably the finest guys in the industry. Lime taking us on tour last Summer was possibly the best thing we’ve experienced yet as a band and listening to them let loose on stage each night was something else entirely. This new track they’ve released might be one of their best yet and we’re so excited to hear the rest of the album when it drops.

.

I Know Leopard – ‘Heather’

Jenny (violin, vox, keys) is a local ICON around the Central Coast (and Australia) and we would honestly be doing the nation a disservice by not adding this song to the playlist. They’re such a charismatic, honest, and hardworking band with one of the greatest albums to come out in recent years, truly deserving of all the notoriety they have garnered (plus infinitely more).

.

The Moving Stills – ‘Nineteen’

More local goodness. One of the Central Coast’s best emerging acts – Mikey, Tom, Nick, and Brad are both immeasurably talented artists and genuinely great lads. This song has some top tier writing behind it and we hope the boys are as proud of themselves as we are of them.

NELIPOT

unveil raucous new rocker

‘Lucy’s Better’

and Tour Dates

.

Following on from releasing their critically praised single ‘Garden Hose Rainbows’, Central Coast-based indie-rock trio Nelipot have just revealed their new single ‘Lucy’s Better’ – engineered and mixed by Jack Nigro (DMA’s, Skegss) at The Grove Studios, Mangrove Mountain NSW.

Taking cues from the likes of The Hives, The Arctic Monkey’s and The White Stripes, ‘Lucy’s Better’ opens with flaring riffs and frenetic drums, as the abrasive rock n’ roll vocals of enigmatic front-man Jordan Olyslagers recall the encounters of lust and a head-spinning romance.

Nelipot’s punk leanings roar into the sunset on muted searing guitars, before dropping to a half-time rolling chorus. “It’s just a song about the joy in finding new addiction” says Olyslagers.

To coincide with the release, the band will play another run of shows on the East Coast, which includes performances at boutique festival Sesh and The City, Brisbane and at Good Intent’s first birthday event to be held in Sydney.

This continues on from a relentless touring schedule where the group have supported the likes of Boo Seeka, Lime Cordiale, The Jungle Giants, Alpine and Luca Brasi.

Previous single ‘Garden Hose Rainbows’ was widely embraced by the likes of Australian radio stations triple j, 4ZZZ, 2XX and Radio Adelaide. The track also received support from worldwide tastemaker blogs Clash Magazine (UK), Indie Obsessive (USA), Ohestee (CAN), Little Indie Blogs (UK), Yack Magazine (UK), The Girls at the Rock Show (USA), Pilerats, Wickedd Childd, Savage Thrills and Cool Accidents. The video clip featured as MTV’s Upload of the Week.

In the coming weeks Nelipot will reveal an accompanying music video for ‘Lucy’s Better’.
