Twice as nice?
HALLOWEEN HYSTERIA 2019
goes double or nothing

Praise for 2018’s HALLOWEEN HYSTERIA:
“Kudos Halloween Hysteria—you made some big promises and unanimously delivered.” Scenestr.com.au
“It’s always fun to witness controlled, well, somewhat controlled chaos in motion and Halloween Hysteria 2018delivered just that. If you weren’t there you missed out. Do yourself a favour and mark it on the calendar for 2019, you won’t regret it!”
Heavy Mag
“Halloween Hysteria was one of the best rock ‘n’ roll festivals to hit Brisbane. Yeah, we’re biased. We’re also telling the truth.”
Well, er, ourselves
Come dressed for Halloween and we’ll see you in the spooky pit!

Last year was Hysteria’s first foray into organising shows instead of just snapping or critiquing them. It’s easy to be an armchair warrior bemoaning bad acoustics and late sets, but making sure we rose to our own standards was a sweaty, gruelling, beerless battle. So naturally, we wanted to do it all again; so much so, we’re doing it twice over two nights!
Gathering together the cream of Brisbane and Aussie rock, punk, and metal, we’re inviting you to experience Halloween Hysteria II: bigger, badder and better than ever. Again with support from Young Henry’s, we present to you, the second, gigantic, spooktacular—HALLOWEEN HYSTERIA 2019!
Brisbane’s The Valley Drive In and The Brightside will host 30+ live acts over two nights, Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th of October. Dubbed “Brisbane’s Loudest Halloween Party”, the first Halloween Hysteria was close to capacity and received glowing accolades from street and online press.
Tickets for each individual night and double passes are available through Eventbrite.
FRIDAY featuring …
Local legends DEAD LETTER CIRCUS have been serving up their psychedelic alt rock since 2004 with dense and tripped out tunes that rush and latch on. They’ll be playing cuts from 2018’s Dead Letter Circus album as well as tracks from their previous three records, all hitting #2 on the ARIA Album Chart. They’re not just a band—they’re a complete experience!
Sydney heavy outfit Justice For The Damned have scorched stages from Download Festival Australia, UNIFY Gathering, Europe, and now Halloween Hysteria. Things are gonna get gnarly.
Deadlights are Brisbane hardcore’s decade long overnight success, infused with technical ecstacy and unbridled rage.
Sydney’s sweethearts RedHook have conquered the whole damn world with an exceptional hybrid of nu-metal and alt-rock.
SATURDAY featuring …
COSMIC PSYCHOS are bloody pub-punk legends, by crikey. They’ve been tearing up watering holes and iron-clad shacks since ‘84, touring with dead set rock royalty such as Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Mudhoney, L7, Helmet and Motörhead. Hit with a stick of NQR suburban horror and piling on a whole mess of heavy riffs, Cosmic Psychos will have everyone rockin’. Grab a beer, get stuck in.
Nekromantix are the Danish-American psychobilly kings, ready to rock Brisbane to its very bones! It’s a non stop dead man’s party from start to finish!
Legendary Aussie ska punks The Porkers are set to whip punters into a rockin’ frenzy on the Saturday as they bring out the brass in the pit!
Japan’s Jetboys are punk rockers down to their bones (which you might see if they take their kit off on stage—which is known to happen!) A must see set!

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
