Local promoters Yours & Owls are excited to reveal details for new venue La La La’s today. Marking an exciting new chapter for Wollongong, the venue will offer live music, tasty food and great booze. And, the plan is to have a damn good time while doing it.
Part dive bar, part live music and arts space, the 150 cap space will be booked by the Yours & Owls team. At the helm will be former UOW UniBar manager Nathan Stratton. Speaking of the space, he says: “It’ll have a pinball, pool and relaxed pub feel. We’re also focused on making sure it’s got just a hint of them small bar vibes. We’re calling it a small pub and we’re pretty keen to build that kind of community around it!”
La La La’s will officially launch on Thursday 14 November with local four-piece TOTTY. The venue will then round out the year with a full program of events including Rad’s takeover, The Pinheads takeover, Luen and her female DJ workshop, Pissfart Records takeover and Music Farmer’s 15th Birthday with Shining Bird and other special guests.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
