We told you it was coming, and now we’ve got more details to share on triple j’s Hottest 100 of the Decade.
If you haven’t yet, it’s time to start seriously sorting out your fave tracks of the 2010s because voting opens at 9.00am AEDT on Tuesday 11 February – that’s next week!
We’ll count down the Hottest 100 songs of the last decade on Saturday 14 March.
The 2010s saw the rise of once-in-a-generation artists like Frank Ocean, Lana Del Rey and Kendrick Lamar; Australian acts like Gotye, Sia, Tame Impala, Courtney Barnett and Tones and I took over the world; Producers like Flume and Alison Wonderland went from their bedrooms to stadium shows.
So what are the songs that soundtracked the last 10 years of your life? What are the party tunes, breakup anthems and make-up songs that remind you of what a killer decade it really was?
And what songs were robbed the first time around?
Check out the archive of past Hottest 100s over here for inspiration and listen to triple j in the lead up to the big day. We’ll be playing all the best music from the past decade and discussing what made it hit so right.
The best songs of an entire decade? We couldn’t possibly rank them, but you can!

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
