Formed in 2016 by lead singer and honourable chief lagomorph, Andy Walker AKA King Bunny, Bunny Racket is the noisy junction between Black Sabbath and Sesame Street with a live lineup featuring members of The Vines/Wolfmother and Goons of Doom.

This wrack of rabbits brings a fusion of punk rock do-it-yourself ethic with a tickle of youthful exuberance. Simple and catchy with some serious hip-shaking riffs, Bunny Racket’s music strikes a (loud) chord for all of us that pine for a time where being a kid meant endless freedom. It is a dynamic which captivates the younger and older generations alike. A mix of song writing that makes the kids get up and bounce paired with guitar solos that prick up older ears. It’s on for young and old.

Lately, Bunny Racket have been busy touring their unique brand of all age inclusive music. Getting audiences shaking, rattling, shouting and jumping to their indefatigable rock’n’roll. Playing anything from daycare centres, to dive bars, to festival main stages in Australia and abroad.

With no more shows booked for the foreseeable future and the shutdown of live events amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Bunny Racket, is planning a live stream gig so keep an eye on their socials. King Bunny is also reminding us all to wash those paws properly with the creation of this 20 second tune.

Australia’s music industry has taken a huge blow in the last couple of weeks with music workers and artist crew losing their incomes and facing a very uncertain future. All profits from the sale of Bunny Racket merch will be donated to Sound of Silence, a Support Act initiative to support the music industry in these times. You can shop the merch here.

Stay safe, stay in and rock on!
