Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Kai Exos releases another distinctive body of work with a brand new single and video Broad Beans, which truly sets the precedent for his forthcoming concept album releasing May 01. Taking the production to unparalleled heights, Kai’s wholesome new track injects all kinds of feels that pull at the heartstrings.
Having premiered the album‘s introductory track Komorebi last month which was accompanied by a mesmerising video that rightfully amassed over 1M global streams, self-titled EP Kai Exos in 2018 and self-penned numbers Hold Out The Light and Fire & Brew that launched him onto Billboard US Top 40 charts, Kai doesn’t disappoint with his latest Broad Beans.
The song pays homage to his upbringing with Grandmothers, Aunties and church ladies’ wholesome cooking, a yearning that undoubtedly resonates with fans and simultaneously transcends audiences. The essence of Broad Beans is a fine sample of Kai’s broader mission of uniting cultures across the world.
Kai’s new album Houseplants is out on pre-order today and showcases his musical prowess as an experimental producer, soulful vocalist and consummate songwriter. This new project is chock-full of #lofi vibes in Sci-Fi, upbeat and carefree We Don’t Care, brutally honest Blessed to fantasy-like Big Dreams — Houseplants gives us a glimpse into the elusive and layered ways Kai is able to layer creative melodies with his spectacular voice.
Broad Beans is out now via VMP Music.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
