Folk pop singer/songwriter Simon Paparo has today announced his delicately crafted single “No Borders” which encapsulates the challenges and silver linings brought about by the affect of COVID-19, to be released April 26.
“No Borders” starts with a soothing guitar melody and the lyrics highlight the raw truth and impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on the world’s community, with the opening lines “and it’s gonna be a long and weary road, and we gotta stay close but not too close, only to wait in line, only to wait for time and hope.” With a simple guitar and vocal that develops into sounds of a British pop rock classic you can’t help but feel the blended fragments of Snow Patrol, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, and Lewis Capaldi. This uplifting track brings to light the silver linings that come from the challenging situation that COVID-19 has created. Speaking on the inspiration behind the track, Simon says, ‘No Borders’ is a gentle reminder of the human truth. This being that regardless of nation, financial situation, race, occupation or fame, we are all one human race. COVID-19 treats us all as equals. We are united by our shared humanity. As the chorus line states “it teaches us there’s no borders, there never was”. ”
Due to government guidelines on social distancing Simon will celebrate the release with a live-streamed launch show live from his studio, Four Doors Studios. Special guests will perform via a live stream from their own homes on April 26. Excited to bring the track to life for fans, Simon enthuses, “I’ll be performing a stripped back version of the studio release. This will be a simple guitar and vocal show, live from Four Doors Studios. Sometime after lockdown I’d love to perform this track with a full band so stay tuned!”

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
