Warner Music Australia has launched their ‘Got Ya Back’ initiative, a charity auction where fans can bid on and win one-of-a-kind backpacks – that have been altered, given the once over and packed with goodies by some of their favourite artists, with all proceeds to be donated to Support Act. To view all the bags, click HERE.

The proceeds of the sale of these unique backpacks will go to the local musicians and the supporting industries who have been hit by the global Covid-19 pandemic through Support Act.

A total of 17 backpacks that have been uniquely designed and filled by top-tier artists including (in alphabetical order) A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, August 08, Annie-Marie, Bazzi, Charli XCX, Coldplay, Death Cab For Cutie, Foals, Gerard Way, Grouplove, Little Dragon, Morgan Evans, Rita Ora, Rob Thomas, Royal Blood, Rudimental and Why Don’t We.

Items vary across all bags and include items such as a signed drumskin (Coldplay), AAA passes (Rita Ora), polaroids and handwritten journal (Grouplove), a worn t-shirt (Gerard Way) and signed merch (Why Don’t We).

Each bag is set to be individually auctioned off on eBay, the online auction is now live HERE and will run until Sunday 17th May 8pm AEST.

Nearly six years in the making, Got Ya Back is a follow-up to the wildly successful In Their Shoes charity auction that ran back in 2013, both being charity initiatives designed to give back to those that support artists – the fans – by allowing artists to create something personal for them to cherish.
