From the critically-acclaimed album fallow comes ‘Fierce’, the new single from Award-winning Country singer-songwriter Fanny Lumsden.
Following on from recent radio hits Peed In The Pool, These Days and This Too Shall Pass, Fierce once more highlights Fanny’s knack for impressive story-telling & catchy melodies. Acknowledging the amazing ‘fierce’ women who she is surrounded by, Fierce is a song for all of the strong, resilient, inspiring & compassionate women in our lives.
Of the song, Fanny says ” I wrote ‘Fierce’ as a love letter to myself really, in honour of fierce women that surround me in my life. I grew up on a farm in a community where women were capable and resilient and went about it their own way and that has been instilled in me. It really nearly didn’t make the album, however we just lay down the beds at the last minute ‘just in case’ and I am so glad we did. The slide guitar solo is one of my (many) favourite moments of the record. Matt Fell (who produced it with us in the stone hut here where we live in the mountains), just kind of whipped it out and we didn’t touch it after that, it just lifts out of that chorus.”
Go be fierce you’re a force
Don’t let it run its course
Take up the space
Because this time is yours
Fierce is taken from Fanny Lumsden’s chart-topping third album fallow which secured a Top Ten Aria chart debut, sat perched in the #1 spot across two consecutive weeks on the Aust Country ARIA Album chart and hit the #1 spot on the iTunes Album chart. With three Golden Guitars, two Aria Award nominations, rave reviews and nine #1 charting positions on the CMC charts under her belt, Fanny is fierce & a force!

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
